The Japanese consumer electronics giant, Sony has announced the latest addition to its high-zoom Cyber-shot H line – DSC-H50, the 9.1-megapixel digital camera which designed for people looking for high zoom, high-resolution and speed, boasting a versatile, long-distance flash that can light subjects more than 55 feet away (under ISO 3200, wide angle).

The Cybershot H50 also features a powerful 15x Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar zoom lens with Super SteadyShot optical image stabilization, 3-inch (230,000-pixel) tilting LCD with a scratch-resistant UV coating, electronic viewfinder (EVF) and an improved advanced sports shooting mode which offers higher shutter speeds up to 1/4000 of a second with predictive continuous auto-focusing so that the users can quickly focus and capture fast-moving subjects with minimal shutter lag.
The new Sony Cyber-shot H50 high-zoom digital camera will be available in coming May 2008 for about $400.
