The award-winning innovator in consumer electronics, Samsung Electronics America Inc. has announced the availability of its two new compact digital camcorders – Samsung SMX-C14 and SMX-C10, which feature the same swiveling 2.7-inch wide LCD display, Samsung’s Active Angle Lens, 10x optical zoom, Hyper Image Stabilization, Samsung’s stylish ToC (Touch of Color) finish and SD/SDHC slot, but only SMX-C14 incorporates 16GB onboard memory.
“The SMX-C14 and SMX-C10 are truly unique camcorders, starting with their eye-catching ToC design,” said Reid Sullivan, senior vice president of Audio/Video and Digital Imaging Marketing at Samsung Electronics America. “In addition to being ultra-compact, ergonomic and stylish, these camcorders offer a host of advanced, yet easy-to-use capabilities that encourage consumers to integrate video recording into their everyday digital lifestyles.”
In addition, the Samsung SMX-C14 and SMX-C10 allow users to edit and play their video without having to install supporting software, thanks to the integrated Samsung’s intelli-studio play-edit-sharing program.
The new Samsung SMX-C14 and SMX-C10 digital camcorders are slated to be available in coming July 2009, but the prices have yet to be announced.
